The Role
With 100% growth between 2023 to 2025, Employment Law Solutions is continuing to grow and is looking to appoint an experienced Employment Law Adviser to support our expanding client base.
You’ll be part of a small advisory team supporting a retained client base. Most support is delivered over the phone, handling a mix of:
- Advice line calls (day-to-day employment law / HR queries)
- Case management (disciplinary, grievance, sickness/absence, performance, redundancy, and sometimes TUPE
- Document support (letters/templates, plus contract/handbook reviews for new clients)
As an Employment Law Adviser, the role offers:
- Real variety – advising retained clients across a wide range of sectors (from micro businesses to larger employers with up to 2,000 staff).
- A relationship-led approach – You’ll build genuine rapport with clients, not rushed “get them off the phone” call handling.
- No billable hours / no sales targets – success is measured by client satisfaction and retention.

What you’ll need
We are looking for an experienced Employment Law Adviser with a proven ability to build quality client relationships.
- Confidence to advise employers over the phone and give practical, clear guidance.
- Solid, hands-on experience across core ER areas: disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance (redundancy exposure helpful).
- Experience: minimum 2+ years in an employment law / ER advisory setting.
- Qualifications: a law degree is preferred, but we’re open-minded. This could suit a legally trained candidate or an experienced HR/ER advice-line adviser.
